Sick days...not much fun

This is Joe Gray, I was out sick with a severe cold. I missed covering President Obama's speech in Ann Arbor. I may never get the chance to cover a presidential visit again.

Music to my ears

It's pretty quiet around the newsroom today with Joe being out sick. So I'm keeping myself amused by listening to music and helping get Belleville's sister papers such as The News-Herald and The Saline Reporter ready for next week.

What kinds of music do you listen to? I'm always on the look out for new songs to hear. Comments and suggestions are welcome!

If you wanted an inside look as to how editors interact with each other while working diligently in the newsroom, here's your chance. We'll keep you updated on what we're planning for the paper and our website, www.bellevilleview.com. If you haven't had a chance to check it out, head on over and read today's latest news.

Back in action

Hello Ypsi and Belleville blog readers. This is Tanya Wildt, editor of the Ypsilanti Courier. I took over the Courier near the end of last year after former Ypsi and Belleville editor Austen Smith started a new position within our Heritage Media family. Joe Gray and Carrie Kennedy are the new co-editors of the Belleville View.
Besides putting together the two papers, we're also going to be adding blog posts here. We're happy to see the blog back in action and welcome any suggestions you have for topics or ways to improve the blog. Our contact information is below.
